In 2027, ICEF USA will take place in Los Angeles. The product of a unique collaboration, this 2.5-day event directly follows and complements the , connecting global educators with top-quality, ICEF-accredited international student recruitment agents from around the world.

ICEF USA builds on the conversations and sector insight generated at NAFSA, giving institutions a practical setting to meet accredited agents, explore new recruitment markets, and develop agency partnerships through pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.

For this event, ICEF only accepts agencies that have achieved , our most rigorous screening and reference checking process.

Event programme & meetings

ICEF USA begins with a series of roundtable discussions and an opportunity to meet the exhibitors. This is followed by a welcome reception, enabling delegates to continue networking into the evening, sharing experiences with their peers and interacting with agents in a more relaxed setting. 

On days two and three, attendees build their own personalised programme of up to 38 one-to-one meetings, connecting with quality, accredited education agents from around the world to achieve their internationalisation goals.

Directly following NAFSA’s Annual Conference and Expo, ICEF USA is a unique forum for the global education community. Specially curated for education providers from around the world, it is perfect for those considering working with agents for the first time, as well as those seeking to expand and diversify their enrolments.

The event also allows attending institutions to network and share experience, directly applying the knowledge gained from the NAFSA conference sessions and pre-conference workshops, many of which focus on working with agents.

ICEF USA 2027 event venue

Venue

ICEF USA 2027 will be held at the Located in the heart of the financial district, the hotel boasts convenient public transport links across the city, as well as easy access to a number of key Los Angeles locations, including the Los Angeles Convention Centre, the Dodger Stadium, Koreatown, the Fashion District, and Little Tokyo.

The Sheraton Grand provides all the features expected of a modern conferencing hotel, including locally sourced American cuisine at its various stylish restaurants and bars, a wealth of nearby dining options, and a fully equipped fitness centre. Additionally, with 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, high-speed wi fi, and the latest AV equipment it is a modern, premium venue for ICEF USA 2027.

I don't really get to see agents that much. And so to be able to be here right after NAFSA to see some of the universities that didn't get a chance to see in the expo hall as well as just a different population has been extremely beneficial and to engage in conversations that maybe I wouldn't have before. Well, I think hearing from other people as to what they know are happening on the ground in their countries is so beneficial for us because then we get their perspective. And also when we're going back home and I'm talking to the education USA advisors, the more information that we have to support the students, the better we off we will be to basically prepare them for the future. So it's really all of those conversations with a variety of stakeholders, maybe not just the ones that we go to all the time. So any way we can share in those conversations and also share in the support is key. I've told a lot of agents about our pre-departure orientations, education, USA centers across the world. We'll begin to prepare students for their journey to the United States. And those agents are in touch with those students. And so making sure that they know those resources are there prior to coming to the US is just really important. And what's next? You've just had a big day of meetings. I'm sure there's a lot of work now after all of that talking. Well, really the platform that you have at is F is amazing, so I feel like I'm in touch with the right people. I know where to contact them. We've already shared some information upfront, but of course we'll go back home and we'll reconnect. We'll continue those conversations in the dialogue in the weeks and months to come.

With the changes that is going on right now in everything - in the immigration, in the education, the evolution in the technology, it is so important to come and meet in person in order to build trust. And also, I mean, align our strategies together, you know, for common go.
