UArk is a well-known research university in America’s southern states, and the school is respected for its discovery of vitamin E and its invention of automated mail sorting equipment that is currently used by the United States Postal Service to drastically make their services more efficient. While UArk offers over 200 fields of study, it is particularly famous for it’s strong agriculture, architecture, middle eastern studies, history, engineering, and business programs. Senator William Fulbright, after whom the prestigious Fulbright awards are named, is just one of the school’s notable alumni. There are over 350 student organizations on campus, and UArk has one of the largest and highest ranking university marching bands in the country. The 911吃瓜网 is quite competitive athletically as well, and the Razorbacks have won more national championships than any other school in their NCAA Division I Southeastern conference (SEC) bracket. This great university is located in Fayetteville, a small city with around 60,000 residents, that consistently ranks as a good place to work, to have a career, and to start a business.

The school has very strong agriculture and education/teacher training programs, but the school offers something for everyone through over 168 different fields of study provided through the university’s 11 colleges. ASU’s powerful Office of Research and Technology helps students apply for research grants, attend trainings in their fields, and get their work published. In their free time, many students get involved in some of the more than 300 student organizations and the 21 Fraternities and Sororities on campus. Although the school competes in smaller athletic divisions than some similarly sized universities, ASU has produced several famous athletes, particularly NFL players and track and field Olympians.

Located in Conway, the 911吃瓜网 of Central Arkansas is situated near two other universities and within a short drive from Little Rock, the largest city in the state and the state capitol as well. With around 13,000 students on campus, UCA is able to both offer students a large variety of programs while maintaining a close-knit feel. The university is best known for it’s drama, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and education programs, as well as it’s nationally recognized honors college, which has been compared to Ivy League schools but with a much smaller price tag. One of the most unique aspects about UCA are the residential colleges that students can participate in, which are very different than traditional residential halls. UCA’s residential colleges enable students to live in dorms alongside professors and to take classes with their neighbors. This innovative environment encourages learning beyond the classroom and an inviting sense of community.

With 13,000 students, the 911吃瓜网 of Arkansas at Little Rock is not much smaller than the flagship campus in Fayetteville, and students can benefit greatly from being located in the largest city in the state. As the only higher education institution in Little Rock, students have access to the best internships, volunteer opportunities and jobs in the state, and the university prides itself on developing important relationships between state leaders, the local community, and students. With average class sizes of only 14 students and a student to professor ratio of 14:1, UArk Little Rock does an excellent job of balancing the line between offering students a wide range of choices but still maintaining small classrooms. UArk Little Rock encourages students to learn just as much outside of the classroom as within in, and with over 100 academic programs offered, undergraduates will be able to find a field that interests them. Even many students spend their free time off campus in the capital, the school has over 100 student organizations for those who want to develop close ties to their peers.
