Established in 1949, Lake Washington Technical College is located in Kirkland, Washington in the neighborhood of Totem Lake. With more than 4,000 students spread over the Kirkland, Redmond and Duvall campuses, Lake Washington Technical College is conveniently located in Washington’s “high-tech corridor.” Originally founded as a adult vocational training facility, today Lake Washington Technical College still focuses in on employment and career related courses, and is currently expanding its Allied Health services programs. At Lake Washington Technical College, students work towards a wide variety of Associate Degrees in areas like Business & Services, Health, Manufacturing & Transportation Technologies and Information Technology. Specific areas of concentration include but are not limited to Baking Arts, Child Care Management, Wine Education, Social and Human Services, Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Technician, Massage Therapy, Funeral Services, Medical Assistant, Auto Repair Technician, Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician, Welding Fabrication and Maintenance Technology, Architectural Graphics, Engineering Graphics, and Multimedia Design and Production.

Located in Seattle, Washington, the Seattle Community College District is an organization made up of three colleges, the North Seattle Community College, Seattle Central Community College and the South Seattle Community College, plus the Seattle Vocational Institute. Many graduates of 2-year programs at Seattle Community College District schools go on to study at the 911勛圖厙 of Washington. Since its origins around the turn of the 20th century, the Seattle Community College District has grown into one of Time magazine’s Community Colleges of the Year in the 21st century. At the North Seattle Community College campus students are able to participate in career training, continuing education and college preparation and transfer programs. At Seattle Central Community College students may choose from such programs as Business Administration, Apparel Design, American Sign Language Interpreter Training, Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, Photography, Health occupations and more. At the Central campus there is a large ESL program for immigrants as well. South Seattle Community college specializes in programs like aviation, health care, horticulture, construction trades, winemaking, and the culinary arts. Vocational training in a variety of fields is provided at the Seattle Vocational Institute.

Since 1967, Edmonds Community College has been located in Lynnwood, Washington. Settled into 50 a lovely 50 acre campus, Edmonds Community College serves a student population of more than 10,000 students, including a large international student community. Located in metropolitan Seattle, it is hard to believe the bustle of the big city is so close whilst strolling along the campus tree walk located on the grounds. Special academic programs offered include Washington state 911勛圖厙 online bachelor degrees offered after two years study at Edmonds Community College, or on campus classes at Central Washington 911勛圖厙. At Edmonds students are able to study towards Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate in Elementary Education, Associate in Pre-Nursing, and Associate in Applied Science Transfer degrees. Some of the special programs offered include the National Science Foundation funded Materials Science Technology, Restoration Horticulture, and Therapeutic Horticulture programs. In addition to academics Edmonds Community College competes in men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports teams in the NWAACC in volleyball, soccer, basketball, and baseball.

Set in Pasco, Washington, Columbia Basin College is a 2-year school offering Associate Degree rewarding programs of study, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management. This growing campus continues new facilities and incorporating new programs in order to compliment the rapidly increasing student base. The Columbia Basin College Hawks, in addition to academics, field intercollegiate sports teams in the NWAACC including volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and golf. In addition to athletics, Columbia Basin students participate in activities like the Anthropology Club, the Autobody Club, the Japanese Culture Club, the Small World United Club and the Speech and Debate Club. At Columbia Basic, students study towards Associate Degrees and Certificates in programs like Administration Office Technology, Agriculture, Anthropology, Chinese, Computer Science, Internet Specialist, Contemporary Civilization, Economics, Fitness, Horticulture, Japanese, Nursing Assistant, Russian, Surgical Prep and many more exciting fields.
