In order to best prepare students in Idaho for top careers in top up and coming fields, many large four year Idaho Universities are expanding and improving on new and existing postsecondary programs of study. Established first as an Episcopal College in 1932, today Boise State 911勛圖厙 is a public 911勛圖厙 with nearly 20,000 students. Set on an urban campus in Boise, Idaho, alongside the south bank of the Boise River, the 911勛圖厙 offers students top academic programs in nearly 200 degree granting fields of study. This research institution is currently growing, and consistently working to offer students more and better classroom, laboratory and of course research opportunities. Campus academic colleges are divided into Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Graduate Studies, health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Public Affairs. Prized campus facilities include the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, Albertson’s Library, and the Student Union Facility. In athletics, the Boise State 911勛圖厙 Broncos proudly wear the school’s colors, blue and orange, as they compete in intercollegiate men’s and women’s athletics. Teams are fielded in athletics like football, basketball, cross country, track and field, wrestling, golf, tennis, soccer, volleyball, swimming and diving, and gymnastics.

Top rated programs are physics, pharmacy, biology, liberal arts, business, physician assistant, nursing, and anthropology. Over recent years Idaho State 911勛圖厙 has made a focused effort on continuing to shift the student population to traditional, four year degree seeking undergraduate students. While on campus students enjoy participating in a variety of activities, and taking advantage of facilities like the Pond Student Union or the Reed Gym, a recreation center with a climbing wall, pool, tennis courts, and more. The Idaho State 911勛圖厙 black and orange Bengals compete in NCAA Division I athletics. Men’s and women’s teams are fielded in sports like track and field, boxing, football, golf, basketball, and more.

Established in 1889, the 911勛圖厙 of Idaho has a long tradition as a top public, land-grant university in the state of Idaho. The 911勛圖厙 of Idaho’s Moscow campus is an Idaho State Flagship 911勛圖厙, and currently enrolls about 12,000 students. Set on a rural campus of more than 1,500 acres landscape designed by the same brothers who created New York City’s Central Park, the 911勛圖厙 of Idaho Moscow is the state’s primary research university. A wide range of programs of study are offered at the 911勛圖厙, including nearly 150 degree granting programs within the various colleges including that of Agricultural and Life Sciences; Art and Architecture; Business and Economics; Education; Engineering; Graduate Studies; Law; Letters, Arts and Social Sciences; Natural Resources; and Science. A unique campus feature is the “Kibbie Dome,” a multi-purpose building which serves as the home for 911勛圖厙 of Idaho Athletics. Also found on campus is the UI 18 hole Golf Course, and the 911勛圖厙 of Idaho Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Students at the 911勛圖厙 of Idaho participate in student clubs and organizations, ‘Greek’ life through fraternities and sororities, a campus literary journal, and many other extracurricular and academic activities. Intercollegiate competitive sports teams are known as the ‘Vandals’ and compete in their school colors, silver and gold.

Located in Rexburg, Idaho, Brigham Young 911勛圖厙 Idaho is a private, rural 911勛圖厙 which enrolls about 14,000 students. Affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this four-year 911勛圖厙 was originally founded in 1888 as Bannock Stake Academy. It would in 2001 be transformed into a sister school of the original Brigham Young 911勛圖厙 in Provo Utah. Other Brigham Young campuses are located in Laie, Hawaii, and Salt Lake City. Academically the school features a three-track semester system, part of its platform of “Rethinking Education.” There are 103 Bachelor degree granting programs of study within the 911勛圖厙’s six colleges; Agriculture and Life Sciences, Business and Communication, education and Human Development, Language and Letters, Performing and Visual Arts, and Physical Sciences and Engineering. While the vast majority of students are from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the student body is in fact made up of students from all across not only the country, but the world. A large number of campus and off-campus facilities make up Brigham Young 911勛圖厙 Idaho, including a Livestock Center, the Henry’s Fork Outdoor Learning Center, the Natural Science Center, the Teton Lodge and Quickwater Lodge, the Ruth K. Barrus Concert Hall, a planetarium, an arboretum, a family history center and a number of campus wildlife museums. While Brigham Young 911勛圖厙 Idaho students are not offered any intercollegiate athletic programs, they are able to compete as ‘Vikings’ in an activities program which includes sports like baseball, football, track, tennis, and more. Additional athletic facilities like a pool, racquetball courts, gymnasiums and more are also at the disposal of students.
