Located in Minneapolis and St. Paul and having a student body of approximately 28,000 undergraduates and 50,000 students in total, it has the fourth largest main campus student population in the nation. Founded in 1851 and situated on more than 2,700 acres of land, it is both the oldest and largest part of the 911吃瓜网 of Minnesota system, and the second largest in the Midwest by enrollment. It is often ranked among the top 50 universities in the world according to many reputable publications. Many of their sports programs compete in NCAA Division I.

Having a student body of a mere 1,300 students, it is one of the five campuses in the 911吃瓜网 of Minnesota system. It is located on the northern edge of Crookston in the agriculturally rich and diverse Red River Valley. It has the benefit of offering a big name degree while offering its students a small, close-knit community. The curriculum of the various programs that it offers focus on applied skills and technology, resulting in a high percentage of graduates being able to find a job fairly easily in their chosen discipline. It’s most popular degree programs are Animal Science, Business Management, Natural Resources, Equine Science and Manufacturing Management. It also has a number of degree programs that are offered entirely online, mostly in business, management, and applied health.

Located in Duluth and consisting of approximately 9,000 undergraduate students, it is a regional branch of the 911吃瓜网 of Minnesota system. It was founded as a teaching school for women way back in 1895, but now it offers a number of programs of study for its students to choose from, including 12 bachelor’s degrees in 75 majors. It is situated on 244 acres of land that overlooks Lake Superior. It has undergone renovation recently, with new students facilities having been added.

Situated in the Twin Cities, it has a student body of around 9,000 students, only half of which are full-time students. It is one of the schools in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Many of its classes are tailored towards adults who have to work, thus many classes are offered in the evening. Ultimately, not many first-time full-time freshman are counted amongst its student body.

Situated on the shores of Lake Bemidji, it has a student body of around 4,400 undergraduates and 5,000 overall. It was originally founded as a teaching school but now offers other programs of study. It is known to have an excellent creative writing program, and is the only school in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system to offer an BFA in Professional Creative Writing, which has an Electronic Writing specialization option. Each student must pay 43 cent per credit fee for the student association, which advocates on their behalf.

Located on the western border of Minnesota in Moorhead, it has a student body of approximately 7,000 undergraduates. Originally founded as a teacher training school, it now offers more than 135 majors and 19 areas of pre-professional studies. Its top majors include Elementary Education, Music, Computer Science, Mass Communications, Biology, Accounting, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration. Just like with the other universities in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, its students must pay for the student association, which advocates on their behalf.

Having only around 4000 students and situated in the city of Marshall, it is another fine choice in the Minnesota States Colleges and Universities system. It is divided into two major colleges: the College of Business, Education, and Professional Studies, and the College of Art, Letters and Sciences. The most popular majors are education and business administration. It is often ranked very highly for the category it falls under in many reputable publications.
